The item is being brought back to the Board to approve <br />the initial appointments.. <br />Sugqested Charge of Sportsplex Community Advisory Committee <br />To serve in an advisory capacity to the BOCC and County Management on community issues and <br />interests concerning the Sportsplex facility. <br />To be a conduit to the BOCC and County Management for questions, suggestions, special requests, <br />and other items that emerge from the community about Sportsplex operations <br />To help promote the Sportsplex as a vital resource for all residents, and assist in creating positive <br />connections with partners and stakeholders throughout the county. <br />Sugqested Composition <br />Advisory Board on Aging- 1 member <br />Recreation and Parks Advisory Committee- t Member <br />Cooperative Extension Advisory Board- 1 Member <br />Orange County Employee Consortium- 1 Member <br />Orange County Schools (Student Health/Athletics)- t Member <br />Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools (Student Health/Athletics)- 1 Member <br />Community Members- 6 Member <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: None <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider making initial appointments to the Sportsplex Community Advisory <br />Committee <br />
