She said she will be talking with Jeff Mann <br /> 32 tomorrow. <br /> 33 Commissioner Rich said that sounds like a good idea. <br /> 34 Bonnie Hammersley said that representative will be responsible for keeping the Board <br /> 35 informed. <br /> 36 Commissioner Jacobs said he would hope that person would be a participant in the <br /> 37 meetings, and not just an observer. He said part of the negotiation with Durham was to move <br /> 38 the Gateway project further into Orange County, as well as building affordable housing near the <br /> 39 stations. <br /> 40 Commissioner Jacobs said he thought the consultants would come back to speak to all <br /> 41 elected officials in January, who could get some background materials ahead of time. <br /> 42 Patrick McDonough said he was unsure how much information to bring this evening, and <br /> 43 he is happy to provide more detail. He said it would be beneficial to have the elected officials <br /> 44 together in January. He said there is a tentative plan to have a day long summit about Durham <br /> 45 Orange Light Rail and station area neighborhood planning on February 6th <br /> 46 Commissioner McKee said he is an employee of Summit Engineering, who may be <br /> 47 working on this project at some future point. He said he and his division has no connection to <br /> 48 this project, but he wants to be clear and offer full disclosure. <br /> 49 Commissioner McKee asked to go back to the slide of the Gateway station. He said it <br /> 50 would be helpful to see the County line on the map, as it appears that only a sliver of this <br />
