Additions or Changes to the Agenda <br /> 22 Chair Dorosoin noted the following items at the Commissioners' places: <br /> 23 - Green sheet: proposed Medicaid Resolution from Commissioner Rich <br /> 24 - White sheet: PowerPoint for item 6-c <br /> 25 <br /> 26 PUBLIC CHARGE <br /> 27 Chair Dorosin dispensed with the reading of the public charge. <br /> 28 <br /> 29 2. Public Comments <br /> 30 <br /> 31 a. Matters not on the Printed Agenda <br /> 32 None <br /> 33 <br /> 34 b. Matters on the Printed Agenda <br /> 35 (These matters will be considered when the Board addresses that item on the agenda <br /> 36 below.) <br /> 37 <br /> 38 3. Announcements, Petitions and Comments by Board Members <br /> 39 Chair Dorosin recognized Bonnie Hammersley, who presented a novelty check to the <br /> 40 Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) for the refinancing amount the Board will save over <br /> 41 the term. She said this is a $2 million reduction, which the Board will pay toward debt financing. <br /> 42 Commissioner Jacobs reminded the Board that Congressman David Price is hosting a <br /> 43 breakfast to discuss the Farm Bill, on December 4 at the Whitted Building. He said this event is <br /> 44 open to the public. <br /> 45 Commissioner Jacobs said the Board sent out a reminder about GAP (Good Agricultural <br /> 46 Practices) certification, and to apply for funding. He said this is based on the Board's desire to <br /> 47 get local foods into the two school districts. <br /> 48 Commissioner Jacobs said the Soil and Water Conservation Department hosted the <br /> 49 BOCC for breakfast, and a tour of a local farm. He said many departments do so much in the <br /> 50 community that receive both federal and state funding. <br />
