The petitions and responses are listed below: <br /> 1) Review and consider a request from by Commissioner Rich that the board consider a resolution <br /> supporting a Medicaid Expansion Referendum, similar to the referendum recently held in Maine. <br /> Response: Done- Resolution to be included on December 4, 2017 Board Agenda. <br /> 2) Review and consider a request from Chair Dorosin that the Board move forward with opioids <br /> presentation at a BOCC meeting with time limits. <br /> Response: Clerk to the Board will move forward with scheduling a presentation. <br /> 3) Review and consider a request from Chair Dorosin that the Chair send a letter to the Montgomery <br /> County, NC Board of Commissioners expressing support for actions related to volunteer fire <br /> department and confederate flag. <br /> Response: Clerk to the Board to assist the Board Chair with drafting a letter. <br /> Best regards, <br /> Mark Dorosin, Chair <br /> Board of County Commissioners <br />
