3 <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following Orange County Social Justice Goal is associated <br /> with this item: <br /> • GOAL: CREATE A SAFE COMMUNITY <br /> The reduction of risks from vehicle/traffic accidents, childhood and senior injuries, gang <br /> activity, substance abuse and domestic violence. <br /> The addition of County private residential streets to the State Maintained Secondary Road <br /> System results in positive outcomes related to the aforementioned goal. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board: <br /> 1. Forward the Petition for Addition to the State Maintained System to the NCDOT for Serrano <br /> Way, Madera Lane, Umbrio Lane, Majestic Court, and Chimeneas Place in The Reserve <br /> Subdivision; and <br /> 2. Recommend the Department of Transportation accept the roads for maintenance as State <br /> Secondary Roads. <br />
