8) Continuing education consultation for OCHD nurse practitioners and other <br /> OCHD staff to include regular informal consultation and periodic formal <br /> sessions as appropriate. <br /> 9) After-hours medical consultation for primary care patients of OCHD. UNC <br /> Health Care's HealthLink program provides initial triage of after-hours <br /> calls. The Department will provide Medical Director consultation and <br /> supervision to OCHD clinicians (4 FNPs) that provide after-hours medical <br /> consultation (on a rotating basis) for OCHD clients referred by HealthLink. <br /> The Medical Director shall also provide after-hours medical consultation for <br /> HealthLink referred OCHD clients on a rotating basis such that each of the 5 <br /> clinicians shall provide such after-hours medical consultation 1 week every <br /> 4-5 weeks. <br /> 10) Monthly one-on-one clinical supervision by a Mental Health Clinical <br /> Supervisor to OCHD Licensed Clinical Social Workers ("LCSW") <br /> providing behavioral health and mental health services to OCHD clients, in <br /> order to enhance and support best clinical skills and recommendations for <br /> the development of an integrated behavioral health program. The Mental <br /> Health Clinical Supervisor shall provide professional support, guidance, and <br /> review of LCSW practice and services to clients with issues related to <br /> mental health, substance abuse, and behavioral health. <br /> 11) Discharge the above described responsibilities through and with the prior <br /> knowledge of OCHD Health Director. <br /> iii. Designation of a Medical Director. The Department shall provide, at a minimum, <br /> the equivalent of .70 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) personnel to carry out the <br /> Medical Director Services described in this agreement, including the General <br /> Consultation and Clinical Services identified above. <br /> 1) Services shall be provided primarily by the "Medical Director" or a "back- <br /> up Department physician." The Medical Director shall be board certified in <br /> Family Medicine or an equivalent certification. The Medical Director will <br /> report activities and services performed for OCHD as requested by OCHD <br /> Health Director. <br /> 2) The Chair of the Department shall, concurrent with the execution of this <br /> agreement, designate the name of the Medical Director, and the names of up <br /> to five Department physicians who will rotate as back-up Department <br /> physicians, to be "available" to provide the General Consultation and <br /> Clinical Services identified in this agreement, see attachment A, Designation <br /> of a Medical Director,which is hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> 3) The Department and OCHD shall indicate their mutual agreement to the <br /> designation of the Medical Director and designated back-up Department <br /> physicians available to be scheduled in the absence of the Medical Director <br /> by signing the "Designation of Medical Director" which is attached to this <br /> Agreement as Exhibit A and hereby incorporated by reference.
