Crabtree, Deputy Fir~ief <br />Carrboro Fire Department ~ ~-`` <br />Re: The Orchard Subdivision <br />The fire suppression request that I made to the Orange County Fire <br />Marshall, Mike Tapp, in regard to The Orchard Subdivision review is <br />being nlet. A pond has been located in the Deerfield Subdivision within <br />1-1/2 miles from The Orchard and the owners of the pond have <br />given the Town of Carrboro permission to use their pond for fire <br />suppression. They do not want a pipe intake installed but have agreed <br />to allow us to install a sign.
