<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Orange County Board of Commissioners <br />Post Office Box 8181 <br />200 South Cameron Street <br />Hillsborough, North Carolina 27278 <br /> <br />November 15, 2017 <br /> <br />Dear Commissioners, <br /> <br />At the Board’s November 2, 2017 regular meeting, petitions were brought forth which were reviewed <br />by the Chair/Vice Chair/Manager Agenda team. The petitions and responses are listed below: <br /> <br />1) In reference to a presentation from Orange County resident Mr. Rob Crook to the Board,, to include Mr. <br />Crook in the bike path discussions with the Multi-Modal Staff Work Group. <br /> <br />Response: Mr. Crook will be included in bike path discussions <br /> <br />2) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Rich that staff follow-up on federal proposal that <br />telephone companies could utilize local governments’ right of ways without compensating the affected <br />jurisdictions. <br /> <br />Response: County Attorney to provide information to the Board <br /> <br />3) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Marcoplos that the Board discuss options to address <br />constant gun noise during late night/early morning hours. <br />Response: Addressed as part of 11/9/17 work session discussion on ordinances including hour <br />limitation, good neighbor education program, etc. <br /> <br />Best regards, <br /> Mark Dorosin, Chair <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br /> <br />Mark Dorosin, Chair <br />Penny Rich, Vice Chair <br />Mia Burroughs <br />Barry Jacobs <br />Mark Marcoplos <br />Earl McKee <br />Renee Price <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
