RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board authorize stafF to proceed <br />with selection of a project architect and to establish a contract with the recommended firm that <br />will be ratified by the County Commissioners on August 22, 2006; and to authorize the Chair to <br />sign a letter requesting expedited project review from the Town of Chapel Hill; and appoint two <br />County Commissioners to serve on the architect selection/design committee; and direct the <br />Clerk to the Board to present candidates for appointment to the design committee on August <br />22, 2006. <br />
