3 <br /> • GOAL: CREATE A SAFE COMMUNITY <br /> The reduction of risks from vehicle/traffic accidents, childhood and senior injuries, gang <br /> activity, substance abuse and domestic violence. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board: <br /> (1) accept the award recommendation of the Application Review Committee and <br /> authorize the County Manager to sign all necessary legal documents associated with <br /> transferring the surplus property (Parcel 09865516149) following approval by the <br /> County Attorney's Office; and <br /> (2) approve the request for $90,000 in leveraged financial resources for installation of <br /> infrastructure contingent upon submittal and County staff's approval of Habitat's final <br /> detailed plans and cost estimate. If approved, payment is to be made in incremental <br /> draws after Habitat utilizes its leveraged funds on hand. <br />
