ss <br />COMBS RESORTING REQUEST <br />Page Sight <br />March 24, 1992 Smith requests that the rezoning hearing be <br />postponed until the third quarter. <br />,Tune 11 Smith notifies Hinkley by memorandum that the <br />Combs would like to have their rezoning <br />request heard at the public hearing of <br />August 24, 1992. <br />July 8 Smith calls Hinkley to confirm that the <br />rezoning request will be heard on August 24. <br />August 7 Hinkley and Kirk inspect the premises and post <br />a public hearing announcement sign at the <br />entrance to the property on Ferguson Road. <br />It was found that Mr. Combs had again begun to <br />move junked motor vehicles onto the newly <br />cleared and highly eroded area behind the main <br />portion of Combs' salvage operation. Some 20 <br />vehicles were seen on the new area. It was <br />noted that the planted vegetation had died off <br />and erosion was again taking place. Hinkley <br />called Smith to direct Combs to remove the <br />vehicles immediately and to replant and <br />maintain vegetation on the area. <br />JRH 8 -20 -92 <br />
