A proclamation of Women's Equality Day will be presented <br />to the Orange County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, <br />August 18th, at 7:30 p.m., in the Old Post Office in <br />Chapel Hill. <br />2. Special voter registration will be offered in Northern and <br />Southern Orange County on Saturday, August 22nd, at Wal- <br />Mart and University Mall, from 1 -4 p.m. <br />3. A brief history of.women's rights in North Carolina will <br />be distributed at the special voter registration loca- <br />tions. <br />4. A WomanLine radio spot will run on WCHL Radio during <br />August noting the importance of the ratification of <br />the 19th Amendment to the Constitution of the United <br />States, which gave women the right to vote. <br />5.
