RECEIVED AUG - 6 1992 <br />August 5, 1992 <br />Mr. Marvin Collins <br />Orange County Planning Department <br />306 -F Revere Road <br />Hillsborough, NC 27278 <br />Re: Featherwood Subdivision <br />Dear Mr. Collins: <br />23 <br />Thank you for very generously taking the time to <br />explain to me the action taken Monday night by the Orange County <br />Commissioners with respect to my wife's subdivision, Featherwood. <br />However, I remain deeply disturbed that we were not notified that <br />this item of business would be taken up by the Commissioners at <br />that time. I understand that this is through no fault of you or <br />anyone in your department. However, we would obviously like to <br />be heard on this subject. I think it is crucial for both sides <br />to be fairly presented to the Commissioners before they consider <br />the matter, particularly where they have voted against the unani- <br />mous recommendation of the Orange County Planning Board. <br />I would appreciate-your assistance in putting this <br />matter back on the agenda for the next County Commissioners <br />meeting, to be held August 18, 1992, so that both sides of this <br />issue can be presented to the Commissioners.
