At that time, due to the large number of
trees that would need to be cleared for a public right -of-
way, the Planning Board recommended approval with a Class
B private road and the conditions contained in the
Resolution of Approval.
At the August 3, 1992 meeting the Board of Commissioners
approved the Preliminary Plan for Featherwood Phase II
with a public road.
On August 4, Mr. Glen Veit spoke with the Planning
Director, indicating that he was unaware that the Board of
Commissioners was to consider the application. The agent
for the applicant was notified on August 3, but failed to
notify Mr. Veit. Mr. Veit would like the opportunity to
present his case to the Board.
RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends that the Board take the
action necessary to consider the request, because the
applicant did not know that the subdivision was being
considered at the August 3 meeting.
It is still the recommendation of the Administration that
the subdivision be approved with a public road, because
the subdivision does not satisfy the criteria of private
road approval.
