32 <br />CONSULTANT QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY SHEET <br />Phase II Inventory of Historic Sites & Structures <br />Orange County, N.C. <br />CONSULTANT /FIRM: David Bergstone <br />1423 North Main Street <br />Salisbury, North Carolina 28144 <br />See attached resume. <br />PERFORMANCE NOTES: No prior work under grant program administered <br />by State Historic Preservation Office [SHPO]. <br />Consultant is familiar with requirements of <br />SHPO but has limited experience in conducting <br />project of the scope proposed. SHPO staff has <br />indicated that consultant has working knowledge <br />of rural vernacular architecture. <br />PROJECT SCHEDULE: Consultant provided time schedule for project, <br />including three - phased approach for completion: <br />- Preliminary Research 9/1/92 - 9/20/92 <br />- Field Survey 9/21/92 - 6/27/93 <br />- Final Report /Presentations 6/28/93 - 7/31/93 <br />Project schedule as proposed by consultant <br />appears to be overly ambitious, since he does <br />not avail himself of the time alloted to the <br />project (September 30, 1992 completion <br />deadline). <br />UALIFICATIONS: The consultant satisfies the requirements of 36 <br />CFR 61 as follows: <br />- M.A. in Historic Preservation Planning, <br />Cornell University, 1992 <br />- A.B. in Art History, <br />University of Southern California, 1985 <br />BUDGET PROPOSAL: Consultant indicated that inventory could be <br />completed within budget submitted as part of <br />grant application. <br />
