28 <br />CONSULTANT QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY SHEET <br />Phase II Inventory of Historic Sites & Structures <br />Orange County, N.C. <br />CONSULTANT/FIRM: Scott Brown <br />2116 10th Avenue South <br />Birmingham, Alabama 35205 <br />EXPERIENCE: See attached resume. <br />PERFORMANCE NOTES: No prior work under grant program administered <br />by N.C. State Historic Preservation Office <br />[SHPO]. SHPO staff felt that consultant was <br />very strong in conducting inventories of <br />historic engineering, commerical, and <br />industrial sites as evidenced by his work in <br />Birmingham, Alabama, Somerset, Bedford, and <br />Fulton Counties, Pennsylvania, and Chicago, <br />Illinois. SHPO staff felt that his overall <br />knowledge of rural vernacular architecture was <br />limited but could be.developed over time. <br />PROJECT SCHEDULE: Consultant indicated that project could be <br />commenced September 15, 1992, and completed by <br />September 30, 1993. Three days of each week <br />would be spent on field survey, with two days <br />reserved for office work. No <br />Time /Product /Payment Schedule was submitted. <br />OUALIFICATIONS: The consultant satisfies the requirements of 36 <br />CFR 61 as follows: <br />- B.A. in Art History, Wooster College, Ohio, <br />1985. <br />-- Certificate in Historic Preservation, <br />University of Pennsylvania, 1986. <br />- Preservation Consultant, 1985 - Present. <br />BUDGET PROPOSAL: Consultant indicated that inventory could be <br />completed within budget submitted as part of <br />grant application. <br />
