4 <br />ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />June 22, 1992 <br />Page Three <br />9 -1 -1 system, and in particular the superior <br />Emergency Medical System throughout orange County. <br />Typical objectives include, but are not limited to: <br />a county wide safety day with concentrated education <br />efforts through the school system, a rally to train <br />as many citizens as possible in CPR, immediate <br />action principles prior to the arrival of an EMS <br />Squad, and to schedule these events wherever and <br />whenever appropriate in orange County. Bob Lockwood <br />will head this committee. <br />Two medical team leaders have been selected: Keith <br />Herron, Trauma; and Dan Jones, Multi - Casualty. Pediatrics <br />and Cardiac will have leaders in the next few days. <br />Attached, you will find a list of Steering Committee <br />Members (Attachment A) and two (2) charts (Attachment B) <br />illustrating the Strategic Planning Process and interrelation <br />of the general basic task force to the four medical areas. <br />
