At that time, the Concept <br />Plan was approved with two (2) conditions: <br />1. Investigate the possibility of a pedestrian <br />easement for access to the lake by the <br />property owners. <br />2. Lots 1, 4, 5, 12, 13 and 26 shall receive <br />access from the subdivision roads. <br />Kirk noted that staff has invesitigated the <br />possibility of a pedestrian easement for access <br />to the lake. A letter was received from the Lake <br />Authority, signed by Robert B. Nichols, Jr., <br />which stated that it is the policy to only allow <br />direct lake access by membership to the land <br />owners who adjoin the 620' elevation. A copy of <br />this letter is included in the agenda materials <br />and is an attachment to these minutes on page <br />The Planning Staff recommends approval of the <br />Preliminary Plan for Bellechene East subject to <br />the condit ions contained in the Resolution of <br />Approval (a copy an attachment to these minutes <br />on pages ). <br />Gray asked if drainage easements could be used as <br />access to the lake. Kirk responded no. <br />Access is by membership to those lots that front <br />the lake. <br />MOTION: Gray moved approval of the Preliminary Plan for <br />Bellechene East as recommended by the Planning <br />Staff.
