VA <br />The proposed amendment was presented at public <br />hearing on May 26. No Citizen comments were <br />received at the hearing. The item was referred <br />to the Planning Board for a recommendation to be <br />forwarded to the County Commissioners no sooner <br />than August 3, 1992. <br />The Planning Staff recommends approval of the <br />proposed amendment to Section V -D -6 -b of the <br />Subdivision Regulations. A copy of the wording <br />of the proposed amendment is an attachment to <br />these minutes on pages <br />MOTION: Reid moved approval as recommended by the <br />Planning Staff. Seconded by Jobsis. <br />VOTE: 8 in favor. <br />1 opposed (Waddell - indicated that he felt such <br />an amendment is unnecessary). <br />AGENDA ITEM #10: INFORMATION ITEMS <br />a. Resolution of Appreciation <br />Miriam and Harold Murdock <br />Miriam Murdock has served as a <br />Hingham Township Advisory Coun <br />inception of the TAC system in <br />Harold Murdock is president of <br />Aging Council, and has been an <br />with the TAC as well. <br />member of the <br />:il since the <br />1977. Her husband <br />the Orange County <br />active participant <br />Over these 15 years of service, Miriam and Harold <br />Murdock have been regular members, rarely missing <br />a meeting. In addition, they have played an <br />important role in drafting TAC comments to the <br />Planning Board and facilitating discussion of <br />issues of township.interest. <br />The ā€˛Murdocks have recently moved from Bingham <br />Township to Carolina Meadows in Chatham County, <br />leading Miriam to submit her resignation from the <br />TAC. <br />At their May 14 meeting, the Bingham TAC <br />unanimously approved a resolution of appreciation <br />for the Murdocks years of service to community <br />planning. <br />The Planning Staff recommends adoption of the <br />resolution.
