The proposed wording would be as <br />follows: <br />Principal amendments shall generally only be <br />considered once each year at the quarterly public <br />hearing in February, provided, however, if <br />special hearings are called -by the Board of <br />Cammissioners, applications for_pr_incipal <br />amendments shall be considered in conjunction <br />with another quarterly public hearing. <br />At the May 26, 1992 public hearing, the County <br />Attorney suggested changes to the proposed <br />wording. The changes are shown on the ordinance <br />amendment form which is an attachment to these <br />minutes on page <br />The Planning Staff recommends approval of the <br />proposed amendment as worded by the County <br />Attorney. <br />MOTION: Reid moved approval as recommended by the <br />Planning Staff. Subdivision Regulations <br />(1) Owners Certificate <br />Presentation by Emily Cameron. <br />The Certificate of Dedication and Maintenance is <br />a statement required to be placed on the Final <br />Plat and on the Declaration of Restrictions and <br />Requirements which is signed by the owner (s) of <br />the property being subdivided. By signing the <br />certificate, the owner certifies that he or she <br />is the owner, that all easements, rights -of -way, <br />and common areas are duly granted for the <br />purposes stated on the plat, and that all <br />improvements /common areas will be maintained <br />until taken over by a public agency or homeowners <br />association, etc. <br />The current language in Section V -D -6 -b of the <br />Subdivision Regulations for the certificate only <br />implies that the person signing is the owner of <br />the property. The proposed amendment will <br />expressly state the certification of ownership. <br />
