2 <br />r <br />North Carolina Department of Transportation would accept <br />the road for maintenance if constructed to their <br />standards. <br />The Preliminary Plan does not vary from the Concept Plan <br />with the exception of the proposed sewer easements. <br />The Preliminary Plan was reviewed by the Planning Board on <br />July 20, 1992. At that time, due to the large number of <br />trees that would need to be cleared for a public right -of- <br />way, the Planning Board recommended approval with a class <br />B private road and the conditions contained in the <br />Resolution of Approval. <br />RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends approval of the Preliminary <br />Plan for Featherwood Phase II with a public road built to <br />State standards based on the Planning Staff findings <br />contained in section IV- B- 3--d -1 of the Subdivision <br />Regulations and subject to the conditions contained in the <br />attached Resolution of Approval. <br />
