Parks & Recreation, Orange Enterprises, and W -O -C Headstart. Vehicle <br />Assignment agreements are renewable between Orange County Dept. on Aging, <br />JOCCA and OCCHS. Vehicle Lease agreements are renewable between Orange <br />County with Orange Enterprises, OPC Mental Health, Cedar Grove Day Care <br />and other short term leases at a per mile rate of $.35 for a van, $.55 for <br />a minibus, and $.75 for a large bus. C.A.T. Driver Agreements between <br />Orange County with OPC Mental Health, Orange Enterprises, and other short <br />term leases are at $9.00 per hour rate. Taxi Provider agreements will be <br />renewed with Airport /In Town Taxi, Broadway - Yellow Cab, orange Cab, Red <br />Bird Cab, Tarheel Taxi, Walton's Cab and others who accept the terms of <br />the agreement. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Orange County C.A.T. program, administered by the Department on <br />Aging, provides drivers and vehicles to transport program clients, <br />materials, and supplies. The C.A.T. agreements clarify the benefits and <br />responsibilities of the various parties involved in the provision of <br />transportation. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): <br />Manager recommends approval and authorize the Chair to sign. <br />
