Since the staff recommendation is "As the Board <br />decides' for the issues raised, I ami suggesting the Board actions described <br />below for the three outstanding issues listed in the action Agenda Item <br />Abstract 1 I I-M for June 29 <br />Recommendation: That the Board of Commissioners ask that the June 17 <br />letter from Gene Bell to Mark Ahrenqsen on the subject of "Clarification on <br />R -2630 in Draft 1993 -97 TI P' be included as part of the attachments from <br />Orange County In the TIP document <br />I e9mmendatioi. That the BOCC ihstruct the Chair to send a letter to <br />the appropriate authorities in, the NCDDT requesting that the some <br />requirements added by the Durham- 04apel Hill- Carrboro Transportation <br />Advisory Committee (TAC) for 1 -85 east of Hillsborough also be added to <br />the TIP for the section of 1-85 in Orate County west of Hillsborough. <br />For your. Information, the exact description in the TIP for the eastern <br />section of 1 -85 is as follows (additions underlinedk <br />1-85; SR1006 Near Hiller to Durham County Line.
