ORANGE COUNTY C.A.T. PROGRAM <br />VEHICLE LEASE AGREEMENT <br />This agreement entered into this 1st day of July. 1993 by <br />and between the COUNTY OF ORANGE; hereinafter referred to <br />as "the County" and ORANGE PERSON CHATHAM MENTAL HEALTH <br />CENTER; hereinafter referred to as the "Mental Health <br />Center ". <br />The purpose of this agreement is to outline the <br />conditions under which the COUNTY OF ORANGE and The Mental <br />Health Center will cooperatively provide human service <br />transportation to Orange County's elderly, infirmed, and <br />disadvantaged as a participating member of the C.A.T. <br />(Coordinated Agency Transportation) system. <br />SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COUNTY OF ORANGE <br />1. To lease the following identified vehicles or similar <br />size at the hours specified: <br />1989 Dodge Van (14 pass)- CAT #21, 7 -9am, 2:30- 4:30pm <br />1990 Dodge Van (14 pass)- CAT# 7, 8 -10am, 3:00- 5:00pm <br />2. To provide all insurance, fuel, maintenance repairs and <br />replacement for each leased vehicle. <br />SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF ORANGE PERSON CHATHAM MENTAL <br />HEALTH: <br />1. To reimburse Orange County at the per mile rate of $.35 <br />for a van due 30 days after billing. <br />2. To operate and schedule the use of the leased vehicle(s) <br />on behalf of human service clients and approved groups, <br />according to the Orange County Transportation Board <br />policy and procedures. <br />3. To park all leased vehicles at the CAT parking lot <br />(300 West Tryon St., Hillsborough) when not in use <br />except CAT# 21 to be parked at the Grady A. Brown <br />Elementary School in Hillsborough. <br />4. To complete all required vehicle operation reports and <br />submit to the Orange County C.A.T. Supervisor in the <br />Department on Aging. <br />
