ORANGE COUNTY C.A.T. PROGRAM <br />VEHICLE ASSIGNMENT AGREEMENT <br />This agreement entered into this 1st day of Jam, 1993 <br />by and between the joint-orange Chatham Community Action <br />hereinafter referred to as JOCCA and CountV of Orange, <br />hereinafter referred to as The County. <br />The purpose of this agreement is to outline the <br />conditions under which the JOCCA and The Count will <br />cooperatively provide human service transportation to Orange <br />County's elderly, infirmed, and disadvantaged as a <br />participating member of the C.A.T. (Coordinated Agency <br />Transportation) system. <br />SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOCCA <br />1. To lease the following identified vehicles or <br />similar size at the hours specified: <br />1983 Ford Van (15 pass.) <br />VIN IFTJS3565pDM87359 <br />1979 Chev. Bus (18 pass.) <br />1977 Chev. ATF -4104 <br />C.A.T. 423 <br />C.A.T. #1311 Lic. 91940 -P <br />pass.) C.A.T. #1011 Lic. 8223 -P <br />SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF Count of Orange <br />1. To provide all gas, proper maintenance, repairs and <br />insurance (liability /collision -- minimum of 90% of <br />replacement cost) on leased vehicles. Proof of insurance <br />and coverage limits shall be submitted to the Aging <br />Director within 10 days of contract approval. <br />2. To operate and schedule the use of the leased vehicle(s) <br />on behalf of human service clients and approved groups, <br />according to the Orange County Transportation Board and <br />approved by the County Commissioners. <br />3. To allow C.A.T. program agencies access <br />(time /ridesharing) to leased vehicles(s) when not <br />scheduled for use at a rate established by the Orange <br />County Transportation Board and approved by the County <br />Commissioners. <br />
