ORANGE COUNTY C. A. T. DRIVER AGREEMENT <br />This agreement entered into this 1st day .._of July. 1993 <br />by and between the County of Orange on behalf of the <br />Department on Aging, hereinafter referred to as the "Count "• <br />and Orange EnterRrises, Inc., hereinafter referred to as <br />"OE" <br />The purpose of this agreement is to outline the <br />conditions under which the County and Orange Enter rises <br />will cooperatively provide human service transportation <br />through the C. A. T. (Coordinated Agency Transportation) <br />system. <br />SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF ORANGE COUNTY <br />1. To provide a certified driver for Northern <br />Orange route Monday through Friday for daily pick -up and <br />take -home of clients between the hours of 6 :00 -8:00 a.m. <br />and 3:30 -5:30 p.m. <br />2. To provide a back -up driver in case the regular driver is <br />not available. <br />3. To employ a C. A. T. Transportation Supervisor to handle <br />any problems and to assure there is a driver available. <br />SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF ORANGE ENTERPRISES INC. <br />1. To reimburse Orange County at the rate of $9.75 per hour <br />for actual time driven, at a maximum of four hours each day <br />of operation within 30 days after billing. <br />2. In the event OE requires specialized training beyond <br />driver's current level, it shall be OE's responsibility to: <br />a) indicate the type & level of training; and to <br />b) provide the prescribed training without cost to <br />the County. <br />3. To provide the Transportation Supervisor written <br />notification of any transportation problems or unsatisfactory <br />drivers' performance in order to take corrective action. <br />0_,1?9?A <br />
