Y <br />y,. <br />* Orange County June 29 <br />* Chapel Hill July 6 <br />* Carrboro August 11 <br />We would anticipate that if the report adequately addresses the <br />questions posed by the elected officials in the three <br />jurisdictions, then the pending request for authority to enforce <br />access to the potential sites could be brought back to the Carrboro <br />and Orange County boards. If the boards agree to proceed with the <br />request, we would immediately finalize an amendment to our <br />agreement with Joyce Engineering and proceed with the on -site <br />testing of the four sites. We anticipate that it would take at <br />least 2 -3 months to complete the testing and another 2 -3 months for <br />the consultants to complete their preliminary engineering designs <br />and to report to the Search Committee. <br />Recommendation: that the Landfill Owners' Group review and amend <br />as necessary the attached report, and adopt the attached resolution <br />referring the report to the three governing bodies for their <br />consideration. <br />
