y <br />-29 <br />STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />19011) Z4 W4KG) AEG) Z#A&00 <br />C �-e t <br />s <br />LEASE AGREEMENT <br />(Six Months with Single Six Month Renewal) <br />THIS LEASE AGREEMENT ( "Agreement "), effective the 1st day of <br />July, 1992, by and between the undersigned Lessor and Lessee, <br />W I T N E S S E T H• <br />WHEREAS, Lessor owns the Premises; and <br />WHEREAS, Lessee is desirous of leasing the Premises upon the <br />terms and conditions described below, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, the sum of <br />TEN DOLLARS ($10.00) in hand paid, the mutual covenants below, and <br />other good and valuable considerations, the receipt and sufficiency <br />of which are hereby acknowledged, Lessor and Lessee agree, covenant <br />and bind themselves as follows: <br />I. <br />DEFINITIONS <br />1.01 DEFINITIONS. The following terms shall have these <br />meanings: <br />(a) "Lessee" shall mean Orange County, North Carolina, a <br />political subdivision of the State of North Carolina, with an <br />office at P. O. Box 8181, Hillsborough, North Carolina 27278. <br />(b) "Lessor" shall mean E &D Unlimited, a North Carolina <br />general partnership, c/o 2 Crow Hollow, Chapel Hill, Orange County, <br />North Carolina. <br />
