Due to having a resident from the Department of <br />OB /GYN, the prenatal patients in the Maternal Health Clinic <br />receive excellent specialty care and supervision. In addition, <br />the Health Department patients who deliver at University Hospitals <br />experience improved continuity of care as a result of this <br />contractual relationship. <br />The terms of the contract are the same as the previous year, and <br />the funds to cover the expenditure have been included in the <br />Manager's recommended budget. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve the renewal of the contract, and authorize the Chair <br />to sign. <br />
