The former was successful; the latter was <br />not. The enclosed application details the plan of the Dispute <br />Settlement Center to work with 245 sixth graders at the Phillips <br />Middle school during the 1992 -93 school year to introduce non- <br />violent conflict resolution concepts, and to train 15 students <br />in mediation skills. <br />The grant of $6,720 will be subcontracted to the Dispute <br />settlement center. No county funds will be required. <br />ON(S): The Manager recommends that the funds be accepted and that <br />the Chair be authorized to sign the contract documents. <br />
