3 <br />ORANGE COUNTY <br />FAIR HOUSING PLAN UPDATE June S, 1992 <br />ACTIVITIES <br />1. Fair Housing Brochures entitled "Fair Housing is the Law <br />in North Carolina ", "Fair Housing - It's Your Right ", <br />and "If You Can Open This Door..." will be distributed <br />to County Human Service Departments and non - profit <br />agencies as well as Community Development project area <br />residents. Posters will also be distributed to the <br />local Community Action Agency, all County human service <br />departments and other County non - profit social service <br />organizations. A list of agencies and contact persons is <br />attached. <br />TIME SCHEDULE: Contact agencies by July 31, 1992. <br />Community Development project area <br />residents - ongoing. Information will be <br />distributed at the time of initial <br />contact with the residents. <br />2. Publish public service announcements in newspapers <br />serving the County as well as local cable and radio <br />stations. These announcements will include general fair <br />housing information and list the N.C.
