Care Funding Plan 0 <br />JOCCA <br />Congregate Nutrition: Congregate Nutrition provides at noontime in a <br />group setting a hot meal that includes 1/3 of the recommended daily <br />dietary allowance. The County's program serves approximately 165 meals <br />each day at five facilities -- Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Hillsborough, <br />Cedar Grove and Efland. <br />Amount: $ 92,101.00 <br />The unit cost of $2.70 per meal for fiscal year 1993 reflects.an <br />increase of $.06 above the State estimated inflation adjustment. <br />DSS <br />In -Home Aide Services: The provision of paraprofessional services <br />which assist disabled older adults and /or their families with essential <br />home management, personal care and /or supervision necessary to enable <br />the older adult to remain at home as long as possible. <br />Amount: $ 25,000.00 <br />The unit cost of $11.23 per hour for fiscal year 1993 reflects an • <br />increase of $.28 above the State estimated inflation adjustment. <br />Aging <br />Care Management: Provides professional assistance for older adults <br />with complex care needs and /or their families in accessing, arranging <br />and coordinating the package of services needed to enable the older <br />adult to remain at home. <br />Amount: $ 15,396.00 <br />Home Improvements: This service assists with minor repairs and <br />renovations to dwellings to remedy conditions which create a risk to <br />the personal health and safety of older adults. <br />Amount: $ 2,301.00 <br />• <br />
