2 <br />Mr. Coulter's request for additional compensation <br />totaled $19,500, itemized in the attachment dated <br />March 6, 1991. The Durham City - County Planning <br />Department evaluated the request and recommended that <br />$10,550 (54 %) in additional compensation be shared <br />equally among the four jurisdictions. Orange County's <br />share is $2637.50. <br />The Durham County Board of Commissioners approved <br />payment of its share on July 8, 1991, with the <br />condition that the City of Durham also agree to pay <br />its share. The Durham City Council approved the <br />request for payment on April 29, 1992. Durham City and <br />County are proceeding with payment of $5275 to Coulter <br />Associates. <br />RECOMMENDATION: As the Board decides. <br />
