(JOCCA), is currently facing a <br />fiscal year -end deficit. Approximately 90% of the deficit <br />has occurred due to a shortfall in the Agency's request to <br />local government and our county government for support of <br />the Elderly Nutrition Component. <br />Due to the recession and increased unemployment, a <br />greater demand for services has been realized by this <br />component. <br />The Board is therefore requesting consideration by the <br />Orange County Board of Commissioners for a special <br />allocation of $4,714.00, which represents the deficit amount <br />in JOCCA's budget request to the Orange County Government in <br />FY 91 -92. <br />The commissioner's prompt deliberation in responding to <br />this request will be greatly appreciated. <br />FB:ea <br />xc: <br />John Link, Couni <br />Albert Kittrell <br />Gloria M.
