A <br />3 <br />The first goal was accomplished primarily through the <br />work of HSAC as they drafted a mission statement for Orange <br />County human services. A copy of the mission statement is <br />included in the second section of this report as part of <br />the proposal for the Coordinating Council. <br />The remaining three charges have been addressed by the <br />work conducted by the Task Force and is represented by the <br />information condensed into the Snapshot Report and the <br />proposal for the Coordinating Council. <br />INTRODUCTION <br />The strength of the human services network in Orange <br />County may be traced to two facts: First, Orange County <br />residents demonstrate their support of human services <br />through their volunteer efforts, private contributions, and <br />tax dollars. Secondly, human service providers maximize <br />the benefits made possible by that community support by <br />coordinating their efforts across program lines. <br />Human service providers make regular efforts to <br />communicate and coordinate services in accordance with <br />organizational structure, around common issues, as a part <br />of service delivery, and in connection with employee <br />training: <br />F <br />
