The Task Force began meeting <br />monthly in May, 1991, and will disband as its work is <br />completed this summer. <br />The charge of the Task Force was to: <br />(1) -- foster agreement on a..basic philosophy to govern <br />-- delivery of human services, <br />(2) promote the development of an information base <br />for planning and decision- making, <br />(3) develop a mechanism for identifying human service <br />priorities, and <br />(4) facilitate communication, coordination, and joint <br />action in responding to these priorities. <br />This Task Force represents the first time that <br />representatives from the five human service <br />provider /funder groups in the County have met <br />regularly to discuss common concerns. This final <br />report is physical evidence of the Task Force's work, <br />but these opportunities for communication have <br />
