2 , <br />The Town of Chapel Hill adopted a similar resolution on May 11, and we <br />expect that the Town of Carrboro will also consider a similar <br />resolution at its May 19 meeting. The attached resolution would <br />authorize Orange County to exercise its statutory authority under GS <br />40A -11 and authorize the County Manager to sign the attached interlocal <br />agreement allowing the Town of Chapel Hill to carry out this activity <br />on behalf of all three jurisdictions. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board adopt the <br />resolution. <br />
