12 <br />The final phase will consist of preparing an Historic Preservation <br />Element as part of the Comprehensive Plan and nominations for the <br />National Register of-Historic Places. The GIS system will be.used by the <br />Planning Department to prepare the Historic Preservation Element, <br />including the identification of historic rural landscapes, districts, <br />and properties. A consultant will be sought to prepare the National <br />Register nominations. <br />All phases will be subject to local funding approval as well as the <br />availability of Planning and Survey Grant Funds. <br />E <br />
