16 J <br />r <br />A SNAPSHOT OF HUMAN SERVICES IN ORANGE COIINTY <br />May, 1992 <br />This report is a compilation of information collected <br />for the Task Force for the Future of Human Services. In <br />it, we attempted to highlight major issues and trends under <br />different categories of service. There were no specific <br />criteria that defined which issues would be included or <br />excluded. <br />This document is intended to be a quick glimpse of the <br />state of human services rather than a comprehensive <br />description of a complex field of activity. As such, we <br />struggled with the fact that every valuable program could <br />not be mentioned, and every unmet need could not be <br />addressed. <br />Readers who would like additional information should <br />obtain copies of the cited resources or contact personnel <br />in the related programs.- <br />
