+. <br />L <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br />ORANGE COUNTY <br />TREDMONT, INC. and <br />RESCO PRODUCTS, INC., <br />Petitioners, <br />!i <br />BEFORE THE BOARD OF <br />ORANGE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />PETITION TO CLOSE A SEGMENT <br />OF ENO MOUNTAIN ROAD <br />FORMERLY KNOWN AS STATE <br />ROAD 1148 <br />TO THE HONORABLES, THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF ORANGE COUNTY: <br />Your petitioners respectfully show to the County Commissioners <br />of Orange County: <br />1. That your petitioners, Tredmont, Inc. and Resco Products, <br />Inc. are owners of property abutting and adjoining a portion of Eno <br />Mountain Road (formerly part of S.R. 1148) that has been abandoned <br />by the North Carolina Department of Transportation all as shown on <br />Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference <br />(hereinafter referred to as "the abandoned road. "] <br />2. That upon information and belief, the abandoned road does <br />not provide to any individual owning property in its vicinity and <br />to any subdivision in which it is located, reasonable means of <br />ingress and egress. <br />3. That the abandoned road is a public road formerly under <br />the control and supervision of the North Carolina Department of <br />Transportation and identified as part of North Carolina State Road <br />1148. <br />4. That as a part of improvements to and the straightening <br />of Eno Mountain Road (S.R. 1148) the abandoned road is no longer <br />necessary to and used as part of Eno Mountain Road. <br />1 <br />
