Insko <br />Don Willhoit <br />EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES WEEK <br />MAY.10 THROUGH MAY 16, 1992 <br />WHEREAS, Governor James G. Martin has proclaimed the week <br />of May 10 through May 16, 1992, as Emergency <br />Medical Services Week in North Carolina, and <br />WHEREAS, The Emergency Medical Service in Orange County is <br />a complex system involving Telecommunicators, <br />First Responders, Law Enforcement Officers, <br />Nurses, Doctors, County Staff and Volunteers from <br />Orange County and South Orange Rescue Squads, and <br />WHEREAS, These people must attend many hours of training <br />in addition to hours of service, and <br />WHEREAS, They place themselves in peril to provide <br />emergency assistance to the sick and injured in <br />Orange County, and <br />WHEREAS, The citizens of the County have supported the <br />E.M.S. service through both taxes and donations, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, The Orange County Board of Commissioners publicly <br />acknowledge their support and appreciation to <br />all the members of the Orange County Emergency <br />Medical Services System, NOW <br />THEREFORE, The Orange County Board of Commissioners hereby <br />proclaim the week of May 10 through 16, 1992, as <br />EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES WEEK and encourages <br />all citizens of Orange County to continue to <br />support their E.M.S. system. <br />Adopted this 4th day of Mav, 1992. <br />Moses Carey, Jr., Chair <br />YOU COUNT IN ORANGE COUNTY ! <br />VA <br />732 -8181 <br />968 -4501 <br />688 -7331 <br />227 -2031 <br />644 -3004 (Fax) <br />
