ITEM FOR DECISION - Pr02erty Transfer from Orange Count <br />Purpose: To adopt a resolution accepting the <br />conveyance of property by Orange County to <br />the Orange County Housing Authority. <br />Background: On March 24, 1992, the Orange County Board <br />of County Commissioners (BOCC) approved the <br />transfer of county owned surplus property in <br />the Knolls Community to the Orange County <br />Housing Authority for future conveyance to <br />Habitat for Humanity of Orange County for <br />the development of affordable housing. <br />Specifically, these lots are identified by <br />Tax Map Reference 7.100.C.10, 7.100.C.10a <br />and 7.91.H.7. <br />Adoption of this resolution by the Housing <br />Authority will confirm acceptance of the <br />property transfer from Orange County. <br />Recommendation: <br />III. ADJOURN <br />Adopt the resolution accepting the <br />conveyance of property in the Knolls <br />Community to the Orange County Housing <br />Authority and authorize the Chair to sign <br />the Resolution on behalf of the Board. <br />(ATTACHMENTS: Resolution, Warranty Deeds) <br />\ <br />
