, 4,�' - , 5 -- � /- � � <br />Statement in Support of <br />Giving Title of the Right-of-way of <br />the Former Eno Mountain Road <br />by Orange County to Adjacent Landowners <br />The Occoneechee Park Committee, appointed by the Town of <br />Hillsborough to develop town property on Occoneechee Mountain into <br />a park, fully supports the proposed action by the Orange County <br />Commissioners to relinquish title of the right-of-way of the former <br />Eno Mountain Road. This action will resolve the long- standing <br />problem of suitable access to Occoneechee Mountain Park Tredmont, <br />Inc., one recipient of the right -of way in question, has agreed to <br />donate an easement through their property to the Town of <br />Hillsborough for park access. Currently the right -of -way of the <br />former Eno Mountain Road stands as a physical barrier to such an <br />easement. Upon resolution of the right -of -way issue, Tredmont and <br />Hillsborough will begin negotiations over this easement.
