Lochner, Inc. on the Eno Drive Corridor <br />Study. <br />BACKGROUND: At the March 24 Commissioner's meeting, Planning staff <br />reported briefly on the status of the Eno Drive <br />Corridor Study. After reviewing the two corridors <br />under consideration in Orange County, the Board <br />instructed staff to prepare a letter detailing Board <br />concerns on the westernmost corridor. This letter was <br />delivered to DOT representatives at a citizens <br />informational workshop held in Durham on March 31. <br />Staff was also instructed to schedule a presentation <br />by NCDOT and the engineering firm assisting them in <br />the study for the Board's second meeting in April. <br />Cindy Sharer, P.E., DOT Project Coordinator, and <br />representatives of H.W. Lochner, Inc. will be present <br />to give a presentation to the Board and to respond to <br />questions and comments. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Receive as information. <br />DK9 :LOOP4- 21.DOC <br />
