The Arts Commission is the official county -wide <br />advisory body on the arts. Its primary goals are: (1) To serve as the Local Distributing <br />Agent of State Grassroots Grants and local (Orange County) funds; (2) Serve as a <br />"clearing house" for information on the arts; (3) facilitate the development of self - <br />sustaining arts programs; & (4) advise the Board of Commissioners on matters involving <br />the arts. <br />Pa COMMENDATION(S): <br />The manager recommends that the Board of Commissioners consider and approve the attached <br />recommendations for 1992 -93 Grassroots Arts Grants to Orange County Arts Organizations. <br />
