Major environmental concern is grossing of Hooker Creek. <br />Velocity and sediment control should be carefully done. <br />2. NC 86 is a major utility corridor for telephone, fiber <br />optic, gas, water, CATV and possibly sewer in the <br />future. Areas should be reserved for all for these <br />utilities, including possible future expansion of these <br />utility systems. <br />3. 1 favor a 5 lane curb and gutter section, but if that is <br />used, a concrete median barrier should be considered in <br />selected areas to prohibit left turns, especially in the <br />steepest sections from Stateside Drive to Westminister <br />Drive. <br />
