Box 27647 <br />Raleigh, North Carolina 27611 <br />Dear Mr. Ellis: <br />3 -ay 9a <br />On March 24, 1992, the Orange County Board of Commissioners adopted a <br />Voluntary Farmland Preservation Ordinance under the provisions of <br />Article 61 of Chapter 106 of the N.C. General Statutes. The ordinance <br />became effective on April 1, 1992. <br />Pursuant to G.S. 106 --743, the enclosed copy of the ordinance is being <br />provided to you to satisfy the requirement that the ordinance be <br />recorded with the N.C. Commissioner of Agriculture's office.
