2 <br />PUBLIC HEALTH WEEK <br />PROCLAMATION FROM THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />WHEREAS, The State of North Carolina has adopted the week of April 5 through <br />April 11, 1992, as Public Health Week in North Carolina; and <br />WHEREAS, The public health facilities in Orange county serve thousands of our <br />citizens each year; and <br />WHEREAS, Public health assures a cleaner, safer, more wholesome environment in <br />which to live; and <br />WHEREAS, Healthful living is the major prevention of the financial burdens of <br />disease and chronic illness; and <br />WHEREAS, concerned, informed and active citizens will ensure a healthy future <br />for orange County; <br />THEREFORE, We hereby proclaim April 5 through April. 11, 1992 as <br />PUBLIC HEALTH WEEK in orange county, with the theme "Healthy Living." <br />chair, Board of Commissioners <br />Orange County <br />
