At the February 18, 1992 meeting, the <br />Board of Commissioners established a public hearing for this purpose, <br />and set the date for March 9, 1992. <br />Draft copies of the BOCC goals have been made available to the public <br />in the Commissioners' Office, Town Clerks' offices, and public <br />libraries one week prior to the public hearing date. Copies of the <br />draft goals were forwarded to various County appointed Boards and <br />Commissions for their comments as well. staff have also notified <br />various non - governmental agencies of the public hearing to afford them <br />the opportunity to offer their views about budget and goal priorities, <br />rather than to make specific requests for funding for 1992 -93. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board of County <br />Commissioners conduct the public hearing to receive public comment on <br />the BOCC proposed goals and FY 1992 -93 County budget priorities. <br />
