C. 27302 <br />November 11, 1968 <br />Tel. 563-6212 <br />F <br />I <br />Orange County Board of Commissioners <br />Hillsborough, North Carolina <br />Gentlemen: <br />The Farmer's Ham Administration has set up certain requirements <br />which the Orange- Alamance Water System, Inc. has to meet before <br />we get final approval of our request for an extension to our present <br />water system. Our request also asks for permission to issue bonds <br />with which to finance the new extension. <br />One of the requirements set up by Farmer's Hama Administration is that <br />we obtain approval of our new extension by the Board of Commissioners <br />of Orange County and in consideration of your approval, we hereby <br />make the following agreement: <br />The Orange- Alamance Water System, Inc. agrees that when it is necessary <br />for water to be released from Lake Orante to supplement the stream <br />flow, the Orange- Alamance Water System, Inc. will then start buying <br />water from Graham in an amount equal to what they are selling in <br />Alamance County and will continue to buy said water until the natural <br />stream flaw is sufficient to refill the Hillsborough and Orange-Alamance <br />Water System, Inc. reservoirs. <br />The above agreement was authorized by the Board of Directors of the <br />Orange- Alamance Water System, Inc. <br />Sincerely, <br />r <br />ORANGE- AIAMANCE WATER SYSTEM, INC. <br />1 <br />i J.
